Bio: Milla Jovovich, Knight.
Milla's family was nothing but plain. Her family was Eitakian for as far back as any of them could remember, with several of them being prominent knights within the realm. Her father, Johann, was one of these, and her mother Margaret was the daughter of a shepherd, a spinner herself. It was this that she passed on to her eldest daughter, Agnes, and this talent that made Agnes a good catch for the local weaver. Milla, the youngest daughter, had none of these skills.
She disdained the domestic skills that would trap her within the same four walls for the rest of her life, cleaning and cooking and doing other useless tasks to keep her busy. Instead, young Milla ran around her family's land, slaying dragons and attempting to ride the unbroken colts behind the barn. Armed with a pocketful of sugarcubes and a fearless attitude, the poor horses didn't stand a chance.
At fourteen, Milla dressed as a boy, made up a name, and put herself in the service of a knight. It was not long before she was discovered, as her parents were suspicious of where their daughter was disappearing to during the days (and sometimes well into the night). The knight and her parents agreed, and Milla's service was discontinued. She would attempt this another three times before they threatened to send her to a nearby aunt, away from temptation.
That night she went riding, picking a colt from the stable and going out towards the woods to let off some steam. She didn't plan to leave, just to get away to think. The horse spooked and threw her, and she hit her head on a tree root. When Milla woke, she was in an unfamiliar house, surrounded by hanging herbs and pots of all different sizes. She remained in the house of the aging Sir Carter and his daughter Helena until her recovery, and the knight humored Milla by running her through training exercises after she had mended. Carter offered to take in the free-spirited girl, and her parents, certain they would get nothing but trouble out of their youngest, allowed her to remain there.
Milla continued her training at the home of the Carters until she reached the age of 19, when the elderly knight died. In his final wishes, he left his home within the city walls to Milla, who he felt would appreciate the property more than the woodsy Helena. Milla was required to declare fealty to the King in order to take the property, making her a fully-fledged knight.
